Wallet

Keep what you need today. Prepare what someone may need tomorrow.

My Card Wallet started in 2017 as a secure place for bank cards: numbers, dates and notes on your own device, behind a PIN or Face ID, a million downloads later. It grew a second half called Capsule: encrypted storage for the things you cannot simply send, prepared for someone you trust, with you deciding when it opens. iOS and Android.

Every card, details in one tap

Bank, credit and debit cards scanned or typed in, kept on the device or synced through iCloud, never on our servers. Find the right one in seconds and copy the number, expiry or CVV for an online payment while the plastic stays at home. Wallet is not a payment service and moves no money.

What you cannot just send

Backup codes, recovery phrases, account details, safe combinations, work logins, documents. Too early to share, too risky never to. A Capsule takes notes, files, voice and video, encrypts them on your device and hands the recipient a QR code or link for later.

Keys that never meet in one place

The invitation key lives in the QR code, key material is generated on the owner’s phone, extra entropy comes from a finger drawn across the screen, and security questions add answers only two people know. The server holds ciphertext and nothing that opens it. A server breach is not a Capsule breach, and we cannot read them either.

Share now, allow access later

Set a date before which the Capsule stays shut and a waiting period after any request. Every opening attempt sends you a notification to approve or decline. If you cannot answer, the waiting period runs out and the recipient continues through the protection you configured. Reissue the QR code and the old links go dead.

A converter for the road

Point the camera at a price tag. The amount is read and converted into your currency on the spot, with the rate shown underneath, so a shelf in Kyoto reads in dollars.
