PNL — Profit and Loss
Notes and a calculator on one iPad sheet.
PNL is for people who want to keep track of money without logging every penny. Each sheet has three columns: what it was, the amount, and a calculation column that opens a calculator and keeps every step, like an adding machine. The total counts itself at the foot of the page. In the App Store since 2013.

Three columns, one total
Type what it was, then the figure. Tap the third column and a calculator appears; drag any result into the amounts. The interface was redrawn with a dark mode for iOS 13.

Edit fast, send it as Excel
Select rows to cut, copy or paste, swipe away the ones you no longer need, and email any sheet as an .xls file.

Private and in sync
A passcode with Touch ID or Face ID keeps the sheets to yourself; iCloud or Dropbox keep them in sync and backed up. Eight languages and a long list of currencies.

A small tool that stayed
Version 3.0.3 is still in the App Store for iPad on iOS 11 and later, free, a decade after the first release.
